CARE COORDINATOR / OMBUDSMAN
Individuals with the
state sponsored health insurance via Health Choice can access the
local Administrative Care Coordinator/Ombudsman to answer questions
about their coverage and provider network.
If issues arise that
require an investigation of benefits or billing, the case is handled
by the local ombudsman. The ombudsman will contact all parties
to clarify benefits and explain the system to both providers and
